Stanley

Stanley is the new tank engine on the island of Sodor, introduced in the movie "The Great Discovery." He was brought in to help Thomas and share his workload during the restoration of the Great Waterton. He also helped with the rebuilding of the Sodor River bridge. Stanley with his chrome silver livery and red wheels and lining is often described as the 'boy-next door' of Sir Topham Hatt's railways. Thomas the tank engine feels a little jealous of this bigger, newer, shinier, stronger and popular engine. However, Stanley is genuinely nice and friendly, so he even rescued Thomas and won him over. Stanley is truly a friend for keeps!
